Het #Waterproject betreft een duurzaam project en valt ook onder sadaqa jariyah (doorlopende sadaqa).  Wij komen tijdens het uitvoeren van onze projecten op plekken in Marokko waar de mensen onder erbarmelijke omstandigheden leven en geen sanitaire voorzieningen en veilige waterbronnen hebben. Schoon drinkwater is hier dan ook hoog nodig. Vaak gaat het om afgelegen dorpen waar de mensen nog water moeten halen uit bijvoorbeeld rivieren.

Wij willen deze dorpen voorzien van een beschermde waterput met bij voorkeur een waterreservoir met kranen. De kosten worden onder andere bepaald door de diepte de nodig is om grondwater te bereiken en de materialen voor afwerking van de waterput.

Kosten kunnen hierdoor oplopen tot circa €8.000 per waterbron.
